A PUWER assessment is not the same as a PUWER inspection. A PUWER assessment will identify the risks associated with the use and design of the equipment and follow the requirements detailed in the PUWER regulations to mitigate the risk.

The same approach can and should be taken in the ROI for compliance with the General Application Regulations SI299.
